“2009 Factory Direct Sale date has been set!!! Horstman Cattle Co. LLC and Sheets Chiangus are proud to announce the dates for the 4th annual event. All cattle will be priced by Saturday June 7th. Bids close Sunday June 14th at 5 pm. See the respective farm representative to leave a bid.
Don’t forget the Horstman Cattle Co LLC and Horstman Bovine Reproductive Service Customer Appreciation Dinner on Sat June 13th …this gets bigger and better each year…Great Food, and plenty of cocktails and the horse shoe pits will be back this year…the 2008 horse shoe event was postponed due to the renovation of the state of the art horse shoe pits. Seemed like a good place for a septic tank…Doc is now 60 and will be competing in the senior division so it is time to allow a younger generation to take the title…Oh yes the cattle.
A good offering of cattle will be available for your inspection. Sheets Chiangus and HCC are 15 min apart and you will get to see these calves. There will be a stout set of Crossbreds, Simmental, Angus, Hereford, and Limi steers and heifers available for your inspection…Heatwave, Who Made Who, Sunseeker, LAH Sue, I am Legend, and many other sires will be represented.
The heifer on this page is an example of LAH Sue’s first calving season. This fall heifer is totally HCC bred…both the sire and the dam hit the ground head first and wet at HCC…Sue works…and judging by semen sales you will have to drive here to find out…look forward to seeing you all…
